The goal was to build a bold digital platform that reflects the high-performance, high-energy world of Formula One – while being accessible, educational and easy to use for teachers, students and the operations team behind the scenes.
This was a brand-new initiative, so we started from zero – collaborating closely with the STEMx team to shape the entire digital experience from the ground up. Our role went beyond design and development: we integrated deeply into the project, helping define structure, UX, and long-term functionality that could evolve as the programme grew.

We mapped key user journeys for educators, ensuring clarity and excitement across every touchpoint. Our design process carefully balanced usability with the striking, high-octane Red Bull Racing brand, delivering an interface that feels both educational and inspiring.
Before the full launch, we helped the STEMx team capture early interest by building a lightweight waiting list system. This allowed them to build momentum, collect leads and generate excitement while the programme was still in development.
As STEMx moved into its next phase, a booking system was then created. This platform gave the operations team everything they needed to co-ordinate sessions, handle registrations, facilitate reminders and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
We built the final website using a bespoke WordPress setup with flexible Gutenberg blocks, so the team can easily update content and expand the site as the programme grows. A solution designed for speed, adaptability and long-term success.

As with all our projects, our partnership didn’t end at launch. We’ve continued to support the STEMx team with ongoing improvements and new features, and we're now working together on Phase 3 to take the platform even further.
As a team of tech enthusiasts (and some big F1 fans), helping more young people get into STEM is genuinely meaningful for us. We’re proud to be part of the journey.
